This contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services within a school setting in Cambridge, MA, with additional in-home service visits in Andover. The role is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based occupational therapy who are committed to supporting student development through direct therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school environment focused on facilitating functional improvements.
  • Provide in-home occupational therapy sessions twice weekly, each lasting 60 minutes, to support continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and other required records.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
  • Comfort and ability to provide in-home therapy services as required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators.
  • Ability to manage time effectively across both school and home-based appointments.

Location:

  • School services based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
  • In-home services conducted in Andover, Massachusetts (2 sessions per week).
