Step into an exciting opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving a vibrant K-5 elementary school community near Cambridge, MA. Working full-time from September 3, 2026, through June 23, 2027, you’ll provide critical support and therapeutic services in an engaging, collaborative setting. With a 32.5 hour workweek, your schedule will run from 8:15 am to 2:20 pm, with half days for students on Wednesdays—giving you more flexibility during the week.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working as an OT in school environments, particularly with elementary-age students preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices within school settings
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for helping young learners reach their fullest potential

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-5 students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress; adapt interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and school staff to implement strategies supporting classroom success
  • Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and parents regarding sensory, motor, and self-regulation strategies
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing OT expertise and advocating for student needs
