This contract position offers 6 hours per week to begin, with the potential for additional hours depending on assessment and testing needs. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
  • Strong background in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings
  • Experience assessing and supporting students with diverse physical and developmental needs
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Organization and flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy services within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ participation and progress
  • Monitor and document students’ therapy progress, adjusting plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding OT interventions
  • Maintain up-to-date records and comply with all state, federal, and educational requirements
