Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, preferably serving K-12 students.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and students.
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver targeted therapy services to students.
- Develop and implement interventions that help students build skills for school participation.
- Monitor progress, document sessions, and adjust strategies to support students’ evolving needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students’ educational experiences.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and professional development as required.
