This contract role, located near Cambridge, MA, offers the opportunity to support students across varied age groups and abilities during the 2026/2027 school year. You'll work full-time, 32.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with educators and families as an integral part of a dynamic school team.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
- Experience delivering school-based OT services to K-12 populations (any prior exposure to similar caseloads is a plus)
- Strong understanding of IEPs and the related documentation process
- Proficient communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable working onsite and adapting to changing school environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student strengths and areas needing support
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Consult with educators, families, and support personnel to integrate interventions throughout students' daily routines
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with both school and regulatory requirements
