School Occupational Therapist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

Bring your occupational therapy expertise to a rewarding school-based setting serving students in grades K-12. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ growth and development. Located near Cambridge and Lynn, MA, you’ll make a meaningful impact while enjoying a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45am to 3:45pm, totaling 35+ hours per week.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials in Massachusetts
• Experience providing OT services in school settings and familiarity with IEP processes
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for students ranging from kindergarten to high school
• Organizational skills and flexibility to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student achievement

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and therapy spaces
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough records and reports
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in IEP meetings and share supportive strategies with staff and families
