Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Confidence in supporting a range of developmental stages, including Kindergarten, elementary, and high school students
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and educators
- Strong time management skills, with flexibility to adapt between part-time, full-time, or hybrid work arrangements
- Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for fostering student independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct OT services in-person, with hybrid scheduling options available
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Support inclusive practices by helping adapt classroom activities and environments
- Document services provided and maintain accurate, up-to-date student records
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
