We’re seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to step in as soon as possible and continue through the end of the academic year—with the possibility of extending into July. In this setting, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to deliver evidence-based interventions that foster independence, participation, and academic achievement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Previous school-based OT experience is highly valued
- Experience working with students of various ages: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and IEP documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help needs
- Develop and deliver therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs
- Document progress and collaborate on student-centered strategies
- Provide consultation to teachers and families to maximize classroom participation
- Support transitions for students moving between grade levels
