Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials for school-based practice
• Experience working with youth across K–12 settings
• Strong understanding of both individual and group therapy in a school context
• Ability to adapt approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other school professionals
• Organized and flexible, able to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the needs of students for occupational therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote student success in the classroom
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
• Offer training, resources, and guidance to families and school staff when appropriate
• Maintain clear and timely records in accordance with school and legal standards
