Occupational Therapist School Setting in Camden Wyoming, DE

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Delaware, or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and students
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for a diverse range of student needs across K-12th grades
• Comfortable working onsite within a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ academic and functional achievements
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
• Assist in supporting classroom modifications and providing recommendations for accommodations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
