What you'll bring:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Experience working with students in TK through 5th grade is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards required in schools

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students based on IEPs and referral needs
  • Participate in student evaluations to recommend and implement appropriate interventions
  • Create customized strategies to improve student participation, motor skills, and daily functioning
  • Consult regularly with classroom staff and parents to support generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all assessments, interventions, and communications

Role details:

  • Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Part-time schedule: 8 hours per week (2 days, approximately 8:30am-12:30pm)
  • Serve a diverse caseload of TK-5th grade students
  • Hourly compensation ranges from $55 to $70, based on experience and qualifications
