Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Demonstrated experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of pediatric OT best practices, including assessment, goal development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans that support student participation and success
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and adhering to ethical, legal, and professional standards
What to Expect:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and educational objectives
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and track progress for a diverse caseload (details to be provided within 24 hours)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy into daily routines
- Educate staff and families on strategies to improve student outcomes both at school and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student achievement
