Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for Kansas, or the ability to obtain
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Background in home health or healthcare occupational therapy a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track progress
  • Compassion and patience working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and create tailored therapy goals
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services within school settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Consult with staff and families to carry over strategies and progress
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation per school and state standards
  • Adapt interventions to promote student participation and inclusion
