Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
  • Prior school-based OT experience preferred, especially at the elementary level
  • Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP processes, and relevant documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers for holistic support
  • Monitor and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Adapt interventions and recommend classroom modifications to enhance student access and engagement
  • Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal regulations
