Begin your next career adventure as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment this summer. This exciting ESY (Extended School Year) opportunity starts during the third week of June and offers flexible hours, allowing you to make a meaningful impact based on students' and families’ scheduling needs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload—approximately 21 to 25 students ranging from elementary to high school age. With around 11 elementary, 7 middle school, and 2 high school students, you'll tailor interventions that foster students' development and maximize their classroom participation.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable adapting to varying student abilities and educational levels.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and students.
  • Ability to implement individualized therapy plans and track progress.
  • Experience with IEP documentation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students participating in ESY programming.
  • Evaluate and develop individualized therapy interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
  • Adjust session times to coordinate with parents’ schedules, ensuring student access to services.
  • Record and report progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Support a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and independence.
