Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Michigan
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to various school environments
• Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
• Passion for empowering students to reach their full potential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Assess, evaluate, and develop individual goals targeting motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district policies
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
• Adapt therapy techniques and interventions for different school locations and student needs
