Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license valid for school practice
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfort with flexible assignments, possibly working across multiple school sites
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in school-based therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to help students achieve educational and functional goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student participation and access
  • Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in accordance with school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to student support teams
  • Manage caseload effectively, possibly split across different locations within the district
