School Occupational Therapist - Carmel, Indiana

This position covers a maternity leave and offers the chance to make an immediate impact over a defined timeframe: November 16th through February 12th. You'll provide essential, in-person therapy services at a single campus, allowing you to focus on building consistent relationships with students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Active OT license with credentials suitable for school-based practice
• Previous experience delivering occupational therapy in academic settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to commit to a full-time, 40-hour/week schedule within the contract dates
• Reliable transportation to commute to the designated site

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver individualized therapy interventions for students needing occupational therapy
• Work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school records and reporting standards
• Foster functional skills for participation, independence, and improved access to the academic curriculum
• Provide education and recommendations to support students both in and out of the classroom
