Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license or eligibility in Wyoming
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to deliver assessments, interventions, and individualized education plan (IEP) services
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ functional abilities within the classroom setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Offer strategies and adaptations to promote academic participation and independence
- Support students in reaching their educational goals through evidence-based interventions
