Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or ability to secure Illinois certification before the start date
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in adapting therapeutic interventions to fit IEP goals and diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized therapy plans for students in need of OT services
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff to promote best outcomes
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team contributor
