As a district-wide resource, you'll collaborate with educators and support staff to help students thrive in all areas of motor skills development and functional participation in school environments.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Arizona
  • Background in schools, home health, and healthcare OT services
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology
  • Experience addressing fine and gross motor skills with pediatric populations
  • History of collaboration with COTAs and interdisciplinary school teams
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in classrooms, therapy rooms, or via telehealth
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEPs as an active member of the special education team
  • Develop and implement individualized and group therapy programs targeting fine and gross motor skills
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to generalize strategies across learning environments
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation following district and ethical guidelines
