Your role will be pivotal in helping students achieve their full academic and functional potential.
As a valued member of the school community, your day-to-day will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy services to students, focusing on improving their participation in school activities
- Documenting progress, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with IEPs and federal/state regulations
- Providing guidance and resources to teachers and families for carryover of therapy strategies
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professionally to multi-disciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications:
- Active OT licensure in Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to organize a caseload and adapt therapy to meet diverse student needs
