Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a lasting impact across elementary, middle, and high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population with a range of needs, from mild to severe disabilities. Located near Castle Rock, WA, you’ll join an engaging school environment focused on student success and developmental growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but passionate therapists new to schools are welcome
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions for students with various disabilities
  • Commitment to promoting student independence in school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12 settings
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans supporting each student’s IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to foster supportive learning environments
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and assessments
  • Educate students, families, and staff about appropriate adaptive strategies and assistive technology
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student planning
  • Support transitions between grade levels and settings as needed

This contract position is Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, offering a structured workweek for optimal work-life balance during the school year. Interviews are being scheduled promptly and can be conducted via Zoom or in person—whichever suits your preference.
