Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as an Occupational Therapist in an engaging school setting for the full academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT practice preferred
- Strong understanding of MTSS and general education student needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student goals
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver approximately eight therapy sessions per day from 8 am to 3 pm, supporting MTSS and general education students
- Plan and provide individualized interventions aligned with students’ IEPs and school initiatives
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster holistic student development in a shared therapy environment
- Maintain thorough documentation for all student sessions, including those on snow days
- Participate in scheduled meetings and professional development, including the start-of-year meeting on September 2 (students begin September 3)
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes independence and functional skills
