Occupational Therapist School Setting in Celina, TX

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Skills in healthcare and/or home health OT a plus
• Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs
• Evidence of collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Capacity to manage caseloads efficiently while adhering to compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement therapy plans designed for the educational environment
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in compliance with IEPs
• Maintain up-to-date records and proper documentation
• Communicate progress and strategies with staff and families
• Contribute to team meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for student needs
• Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
