Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience providing OT services in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and school-based interventions
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments to identify needs impacting academic performance and participation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals

  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
