Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Arizona OT license required
- IVP fingerprint clearance card (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy or pediatrics is highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a variety of age groups and developmental needs
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to support student IEP goals
- Assess and evaluate students’ gross and fine motor skills, recommending and implementing interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and communications
- Participate in meetings, IEP development, and family conferences
- Rotate between assigned schools as determined by caseload needs
