Exciting contract opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist to support K–12 students in a dynamic educational environment near Chandler, AZ. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing direct and teletherapy OT services throughout the upcoming fall semester, starting in September and concluding in December 2026. The position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the school community and help students reach their academic and developmental goals.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and maintain timely documentation
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational best practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ OT needs and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and support student access to curriculum
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations regarding OT services
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
