Occupational Therapist School Setting - Chandler, AZ

Exciting contract opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist to support K–12 students in a dynamic educational environment near Chandler, AZ. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing direct and teletherapy OT services throughout the upcoming fall semester, starting in September and concluding in December 2026. The position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the school community and help students reach their academic and developmental goals.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans and maintain timely documentation
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational best practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ OT needs and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, both in-person and via teletherapy
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and support student access to curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations regarding OT services
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed for optimal student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
