Your expertise will support a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, where your thoughtful interventions and collaboration will promote student success and independence in both academic and functional skills. You'll work within a well-structured schedule, providing direct therapy services, developing individualized plans, and consulting with educators and families.
Required Credentials & Professional Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and documentation
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy to varying needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with PreK-12th grade settings
- Familiarity with OT in home health or general healthcare settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals for students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school setting
- Document progress and communicate effectively with educators and caregivers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students of all abilities
- Maintain compliance with all school and professional guidelines
This assignment spans the academic year (8/4/2026 - 5/28/2027) for 37.5 hours per week, offering a consistent schedule to build meaningful connections and impact student growth.
