Step into a dynamic school-based setting dedicated to helping students from PreK through 12th grade reach their fullest potential. This contract occupational therapy opportunity offers the chance to make a measurable impact across a diverse student population in an engaging, supportive environment.

Your expertise will support a caseload of approximately 45-50 students, where your thoughtful interventions and collaboration will promote student success and independence in both academic and functional skills. You'll work within a well-structured schedule, providing direct therapy services, developing individualized plans, and consulting with educators and families.

Required Credentials & Professional Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and documentation
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy to varying needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with PreK-12th grade settings
  • Familiarity with OT in home health or general healthcare settings is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school setting
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with educators and caregivers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students of all abilities
  • Maintain compliance with all school and professional guidelines

This assignment spans the academic year (8/4/2026 - 5/28/2027) for 37.5 hours per week, offering a consistent schedule to build meaningful connections and impact student growth.
