Occupational Therapist School Setting in Chapin, SC

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students at multiple sites in the Chapin, SC area. This position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work across 2-3 school sites, serving caseloads typically ranging from 45 to 50 students, and make a meaningful impact with learners from PreK through 12th grade. Compensation for this role is between $45 and $55 per hour, recognizing your valuable expertise.

Qualifications:

• Active state license in Occupational Therapy
• At least one year of experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong skills in adapting interventions for students across developmental levels
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver interventions to help students access curriculum and daily school activities
• Document progress and maintain accurate student records and evaluations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support students’ goals
• Travel between 2-3 school locations as assigned
• Communicate proactively with teachers, support staff, and parents
