Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for practice in Ohio
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT position preferred
- Proficiency in delivering OT evaluations, interventions, and progress reports
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Committed to fostering students’ independence and functional abilities in educational environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to establish student treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services directly to students
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions accordingly
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support IEP goals
- Provide recommendations for modifications, accommodations, or classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute insight for student success
- Educate school staff and families on best practices in assistive technology, adaptive strategies, and sensory needs
