Gross Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in Charles Town, WV

Bring your expertise in OT services across multiple settings, including schools, teletherapy, and home health. Your ability to address gross motor skill development and experience as a COTA or OT in school environments will be highly valued. As you step in, you'll ensure seamless therapy for students, fostering their access to education and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Key qualifications:

• Valid occupational therapy licensure in West Virginia
• Experience in school-based OT and/or home health or teletherapy
• Skilled in developing and implementing interventions for gross motor skills
• Previous maternity leave or contract coverage experience is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to tailor interventions
• Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation
• Provide guidance to COTAs or paraprofessionals as needed
• Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and planning
