Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience, or a strong interest, in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver individualized OT interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with educators, families, and students
- Compassion, adaptability, and a true passion for student success
In this position, you’ll:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students' unique needs and strengths
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and interventions within the educational environment
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to promote inclusive practices
- Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and advocate for appropriate accommodations
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to help students reach their goals and maximize independence in daily school activities
