Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state OT licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in a school setting, preferred
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to interpret IEPs and perform school-based assessments
- Enthusiastic approach to meeting the unique needs of diverse learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specialized therapy plans tailored to student goals
- Conduct assessments and document student progress using evidence-based practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in classroom, individual, or group settings
- Educate and support staff and parents on strategies to enhance participation and performance
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
