Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
• Strong evaluation and documentation skills
• Familiarity with IEP process and team-based collaboration
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and staff
• Flexible approach and adaptability in varied settings and caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on IEPs
• Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and parents for integrated care
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
• Provide direct therapy services and recommend adaptive strategies
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support staff with resources, training, and consultation as needed
