Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist certification for Vermont
  • Proven experience or strong interest working within school settings
  • Ability to manage the unique needs of a K-12 caseload
  • Solid understanding of school-based therapy practices and documentation standards
  • Collaborative, communicative, and flexible approach with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills to balance evaluations, interventions, and paperwork

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to K-12 students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ participation and success in the classroom
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring to inform therapy plans
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of treatment and progress in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Consult with school staff to adapt learning environments and promote student independence
