Desired Background:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state or be eligible for licensure.
- Previous experience or enthusiasm for working with pediatric and/or school-based populations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
- Capable of managing a diverse caseload and adapting to different grade levels—from kindergarten through high school.
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and the delivery of both direct and consultative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person therapy and interventions tailored to K-12 students’ needs, supporting their academic and functional success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and complete timely documentation.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills necessary for classroom participation.
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed within the area.
