Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior school-based OT experience preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and special education services
  • Ability to adapt OT interventions to students’ unique learning needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to provide therapy services during school hours and as needed for ESY/compensatory programs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person occupational therapy to students on an as-needed basis
  • Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes related to OT goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to create supportive learning environments
  • Support ESY and provide compensatory services, ensuring students receive the necessary interventions
  • Facilitate or participate in IEP meetings, reporting relevant therapy goals and progress
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and compliance guidelines
