Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based Occupational Therapist providing in-person support for students ages 3 to 21 near Chicago, IL. This full-time opportunity spans from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational or clinical setting is preferred
  • Ability to provide direct and consultative OT services on campus
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Committed to onsite, in-person work (remote/hybrid not available)
  • Familiarity with evidence-based OT interventions for diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective occupational therapy interventions to students across a wide age range
  • Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement IEP goals and evidence-based programs
  • Evaluate students’ abilities, recommend adaptive strategies or equipment, and track progress toward goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide professional input on student plans
  • Offer training or guidance to school staff to enhance support for students' functional participation
  • Ensure all documentation, including therapy logs and reports, is accurate and timely
