What we’re seeking:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with a current credential in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based environment
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress tracking, and case management
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Adaptability to work with diverse age groups and needs
- Detail-oriented and organized in documentation and reporting
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals and assessments
- Conduct evaluations, develop intervention plans, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ access to the educational environment
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress regularly
- Provide direct and consultative services; recommend adaptive strategies and equipment as needed
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive environment for learning and growth
