Make an impact supporting students’ success in an educational setting as a contract Occupational Therapist. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff in a schools-based role, providing specialized OT services to help children achieve functional independence in learning environments. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatrics is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to evaluate students and develop tailored treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in school settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff
  • Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team planning and training
