A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in the San Diego, CA area, providing services within K-12 schools. This contract role involves working 37.5 hours per week, itinerating between 2 to 3 schools. The caseload includes students with moderate to severe disabilities, serving approximately 55 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for compliance and progress tracking.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites.
