A K-12 educational setting in Cicero, IL, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students throughout the school year. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic school environment, fostering developmental progress and enhancing students’ functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs across grades K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ abilities, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate services and share student progress.
