Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Illinois

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, session notes, and data collection
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support carryover of strategies within the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing IEP development
  • Offer consultation and training for school personnel on strategies for supporting student engagement and success
