Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state OT license and Department of Education credentials (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional and sensory-motor skills
  • Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans in coordination with teaching staff and families
  • Support the integration of therapy goals within classroom routines
  • Monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences, delivering professional insights to guide student success
  • Provide recommendations and adaptive strategies to support classroom participation
