Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary through high school students near Cicero, IL! Make a difference by providing occupational therapy services across a variety of school settings, working alongside dedicated educators and helping students reach their highest potential.

In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with classroom teachers, providing push-in services for entire classrooms while also adapting your approach for students with individualized education plans (IEPs). The schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, ensuring a consistent routine and work-life balance with 32.5 hours per week.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school, home health, or healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of K-12 developmental and educational needs
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods for classroom-based and individualized settings
  • Skilled at collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Valid OT licensure (Illinois or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide push-in OT services tailored to classroom activities and group needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative support for students with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily instruction
  • Evaluate student progress and adapt interventions as needed
  • Attend IEP meetings and document outcomes
  • Empower students to improve motor skills, self-care, and independence for academic and social success
