Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students of all abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans supporting educational and developmental goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into the classroom and daily routines
  • Maintain timely, accurate records aligned with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on occupational therapy interventions
  • Offer recommendations for adaptive tools, classroom accommodations, and sensory supports as needed
