Occupational Therapist School Setting in Citrus Heights, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with active California state credentials
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Familiarity with providing both direct services and consultative support
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 50 students
• Experience working with general education and mild/moderate needs populations
• Strong communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students according to IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with educators, staff, and families to support student participation
• Adapt activities and materials to promote student achievement
• Maintain thorough, accurate records and reports as required by school protocols
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed therapeutic strategies into the school day
