Located in a supportive educational setting near Claremont, NH, this contract-based role is ideal for experienced school-based therapists eager to help students reach their fullest potential.

Schedule:

  • July 6 to July 31
  • Monday through Thursday, 8 am – 12 pm

Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students with disabilities achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. By collaborating with educators and families, you will support seamless service delivery throughout the summer session.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy, both direct and consultative, in line with each student’s IEP
  • Employ evidence-based interventions to build fine motor skills, enhance sensory regulation, teach self-care, and promote functional participation in a school setting
  • Maintain compliant documentation, recording session notes, progress reports, and service logs
  • Work closely with special education personnel, related service providers, and families to support carryover of skills and strategies
  • Tailor materials and activities to suit diverse student needs, in both classroom and community environments

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an occupational therapist
  • Previous experience providing OT in schools
  • Familiarity with IDEA regulations and the IEP process
