A dedicated Occupational Therapist is needed to support school-aged children, working 35 hours per week. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families near Clayton, CA to help students reach their fullest potential.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll use your expertise to create tailored interventions, foster independence, and help build the skills children need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Your qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) in California
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting children of diverse abilities
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Provide direct OT services to students based on IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive classroom environments
  • Monitor progress and document services accurately and timely
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the school team
