Occupational Therapist School Setting in Clayton, NC

You'll become an integral part of a collaborative team, leveraging your expertise to support students’ developmental and educational needs. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Valid North Carolina OT license (NCBOT) and a post-graduate OT degree (Master’s preferred)
• School-based OT experience beyond fieldwork or graduate school; NC schools experience preferred
• Proficiency with ECATS and IEPs; comfortable documenting and managing services
• Strong experience with the Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
• Demonstrated skill in performing motor screenings, comprehensive OT evaluations, and interpreting results in an educational context
• Familiarity with a broad range of standardized assessments used in schools
• Ability to register for NPI and NC Tracks prior to start date
• Clearance via DCDEE fingerprinting and district background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide OT services to a varied caseload across multiple school sites, focusing on K-12 students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational standards
• Collaborate closely with educational teams to integrate therapy services into students’ academic goals
• Diligently document and track student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in monthly workload reviews to ensure equitable caseload distribution
