Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in Tennessee (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Prior experience providing OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Ability to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans
• Adaptable and proactive approach in meeting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional abilities and needs
• Develop, document, and implement individualized intervention plans targeting developmental, sensory, and motor skills for improved participation in academic activities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
• Attend relevant meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide consultative services as needed
• Educate and mentor staff on OT best practices and accommodations for students
