Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cleves, OH

Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing essential occupational therapy services within a supportive preschool environment. In this contract position, you will focus on supporting early childhood education and helping students gain the skills they need to thrive. Work closely with engaged educators and caring families, all while fostering positive outcomes for children at a formative stage in their development.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Ohio
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Enthusiasm for working with preschool-aged children
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and early intervention strategies
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 23 preschool students, all located within a single center
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Consult and collaborate with classroom staff and families to support student progress in motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements
• Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., allowing for work-life balance. This assignment is set to begin in November 2026 and will run through November (excluding the week of Thanksgiving), with the potential to extend into December.
