Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cloverdale, IN

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations for school-based therapy services
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in a school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into the classroom and daily routines
• Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions
• Assist in preparing reports and recommendations for educational teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to support student-centered goals
